What is a Joint Venture?

A Joint Venture is an agreement in which two or more businesses work on a
project for a set period of time.  Joint ventures can be long-term, like
promoting a product package together, or some can be short-term, like
trading products and services.

Why Should Joint Ventures Be a MAJOR Part of Your Marketing?

Joint Ventures are my favorite way to build businesses, Why? Because they are
Diverse, Duplicatable, You Can Get Really Creative, Fun, Easy to Implement and
They Yield RESULTS.

What You Must Have To Properly Put Together a Joint Venture-

  1. An Attractive Offer, Best if you receive 100% of the profits
  2. Proven Results and Conversions
  3. Password Protected Unique Tracking for your Partners to see their

How To Set Up JV Partners

PART ONE- Finding Partners

  1. Set up a 2 specific documents on your computer
    Online JV Partners/Offline JV Partners for all of
    your research (Here is a Sample Document).
    Get a small notebook that you carry with you at all times.
    (Once you start this process, you are going to look at places
    and things very different from this point on).
  2. Start the creative process. First, you want to think about
    where your prospects are.

    1. What sites are they on
    2. Where do the Shop
    3. Where do they live
    4. Where do they drive
    5. Etc…
  3. Start searching online using Google/Yahoo & Bing for
    keywords that are specific to your ninch. My niche is
    Internet Marketing.  So I would go to each search engine and type in

    1. Internet Marketing
    2. Internet Marketing + Forum/s
    3. Internet Marketing + blog/s
    4. Internet Marketers
    5. I would copy and paste all the websites URL and
      owner of the site contact information into my document
      that I created earlier. (The sites must be privately owned)
  4. Offline Research- Think about where your prospects are?
    Here are just a few examples to get your creative juices flowing.

    1. Lunch Trucks that drive on busy roads- You can order a
      sign to hang on the lunch truck and craft a special offer that
      commuters will see. Example- Hate sitting in this traffic,
      Go To Www.OccupyYourFutureNow.com & NEVER sit in Traffic again.
    2. Talk to your local pizza places and create a flyer to be handed
      out with every pizza.
    3. High End Wine Stores
    4. Gourmet Deli’s
    5. Auto Repair Places
    6. This is really an endless list
    7. Be Creative
  5. VERY IMPORTANT- Do not get hung up on doing Too MUCH research.
    Once you get 15 contacts, Then move onto the next step.
    You will always be adding to your list.

Part Two- Approaching and Crafting an Offer

So, Now you know who you are going to approach to partner with.

  1. Analyze your cost and offer the highest percentage you can to your
    potential JV partners. I would recommend 55%-70%, higher if you
    receive upsells or residuals. (I am able to offer my Partner 95% of the
    initial sale because I receive 100% profits (This is the key) my product
    converts at 40% to the next upsell, plus I receive residuals.
  2. Here is a sample proposal for you to customize and start sending out asap.
    Subject line-” FIRSTNAME – A Joint Venture Opportunity
    For Your Consideration”. Always personalize what you can, so it comes
    across genuine.
  3. Again get creative when sending the proposal, send an email, send a
    video and/or a text message. You can see if you can find them on a social
    networking site like Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, etc and then send them
    the content that way. This will really make you stand out and create a
    very interesting offer. (Don’t over complicate this, a quick screen capture
    video reading your proposal and showing them the website).  If you are
    not comfortable with that just send an email.
  4. That is it!!! Get them a unique link and customized marketing material
    so they can start advertising for you for FREE. It really doesn’t get any
    easier this this.

NOTE** Make sure you  don’t send the sample product with the proposal.
Let them raise their hand first, then you can send it to them.
